The automotive manufacturing industry comprises the production of commercial vehicles, passenger cars, three- and two-wheelers, etc. We need trained manpower to carry out the various activities in sales, service and production of automotive products. Automotive Tool Room Technician involves in various machining and assembling activities to manufacture tool and die as per the work requirements. The person should be able to work independently, perform laborious tasks, should be a good listener, good at taking and have the ability to work for long hours in adverse conditions.
In this course we focus on introduction of tools room technician and Role and Responsibility of a Tool Room Technician, Basic concepts of Workshop science and calculation, Safety Precautions and Hazardous. Hand Tools, Marking Tools, Cutting Tools, Basics of Welding, and Sheet Metal operations, Measuring Tools, various operations performed on machine tools like Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Grinding with construction and working principle.
Also, we include employability skills and how to work with others, explains Engineering Drawing, and discuss about the CNC Machines.
